The reason I like D&G is they make such sensible basics that a modern woman can easily incorporate into their everyday attire. If she just happens to be a Hapsburg!

On a lighter note… I’m in for the creamy lacy jacket & the skirt… but not together and with a slip cos I’m a modest lass. I love the second cape but fear the mutant embellished ninja sisters that appear to be part of the deal!!

Versailles is quite overwhelming, but that said, I want at least one piece just for the embroidery!!!! I would wear a *sensibly cut* Versailles jacket. Wardrobe staple. Mmmhmmm!

The fabrics are beautiful – maybe just a coat/purse or vest would work for an outfit?! Although, I think I might look a little over done while walking my dog – unless it was some unique European dog that only barked in Italian

The Versailles Vampires are rather frightening though. They look like they are bearing down on you. Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated.

Oh my God, brilliant! I love seeing the word parlor in print. I need to use that word more in my everyday conversations. Versailles coming alive is quite disturbing in a wax museum sort of way.
