Sewing is about taking risks right? Well, I think tempered with what you love and what you enjoy- I’ve hoped that everyone who made a contribution to my month of fur-bearing fashion enjoyed and got much wear out of their creations..while maybe getting some new ideas for playing with prints. I’m so pleased and honored with all wonderful things you have let me show off for you- so please enjoy Tom and his hips while I show you even more!
Rachel stuns with all her work- she really styles this beautifully- I love it!
Redsilvia updated the classic buttondown in much wonderfulness! Gorgeous print…hmm, it looks good with redhair….
Foxy Loxy!! Retro with Cynthia- foxes totally count- especially if it’s a rare fox wearing a pussybow!
Tigergirl lives up to her name with this self-drafted amazingness- and the pictures of her stash made me tear up a little bit…..
The Meryl Streep of Jungle January is our Velosewer! I can’t wait to see what else she may have planned! Ring-a-ding-ding!
Have you met the artist formerly known as Blogless Anna?Well, look up to the trees- she has made the birds sing with this Japanese pattern book top!
My friend Chris from All Seamed up brings us a tropical zebra hybrid that is too pretty!! You must be careful in the jungle wearing cake- could get dangerous!
Gracious, what a gorgeous bunch!
Well, Flannery wishes to remind you to stop and smell the artificial flowers and don’t forget to forge your name in posterity on the Jungle January Flickr Group!

OMG for Tom Jones in that clip. *face in the pillow* Lol. Those hip movements…
It is unsettling!
Love it! I have to get started today!
Yay! Any hints of the plan?
anything that fits my 3/4 yard of animal print fabric lol!
Oh that is not enough animal for me- Id only get a collar!
What a great group of pieces! And you make it all the better with your special commentary. What a fun and inspiring month!
Its the music, isnt it?
Wow! This is the best group yet. I especially love Tigergirl’s dress. That print is definitely something I would wear and the simple style dress really shows it off well.
So sharp!
Another great jungle post! Love that blouse Redsilvia is rockin, and that dress that Chris has on – love the pattern! It fits her so nicely. Well done, all!
This is such fun, isnt it?
Foxes have infiltrated Jungle January? Thrilling!
Its a very inviting jungle!
Cannot have enought of Jungle grrreatness!
So many lovely contributions! I really need to get going on Jungle January… Speaking of which, where’s your contribution, Ms. Anne?
Or, did you post and I somehow missed it?
Um…well…ok, I made a dress and I hate it on me! Its in the overhaul stages!
I’m looking forward to your dress. I’m sure it will be very Grrr.
I’m sure it will be stunning once you’ve had your way with it!
Psst- it made it to flick, now I need to post it!
Oh, these contributions are lovely! I’m so happy to be discovering the work of these talented sewers!
Arent they wonderful?
I LOVE YOU, TOM JONES! I love all of these posts so far, and I think that purple button down is amazing! Totally perfect for redheads
I think the Jones added a lovely catwalk element to the proceedings!
all these are grrrrreat! Does a little fur collar count? putting my toe in? (rather sticking my neck out!)
Toes and cuffs and collars are all welcome!
Still working on mine…promise. What a lovely job these other ladies have done! Now, i have to work even harder on mine to make it look half as good. Thanks!!
I know I am getting very intimidated by all these!
I wonder if there are any bra sewalong ladies joining us?
I love the pieces everyone’s made so far and Tom Jones is still my fav.
How fun!
I wonder if a white tunic with black polka dots would count as jungle… It’s very Dalmatian like…
Albino rhino is technically animal print too! Its a very flexible genre!
So much radness happening here! And Tom Jones to top it off? Magnificent!
He just tops any event, doesnt he?
I am so enjoying this parade – oh I wish that it wasn’t half over – maybe a ferocious February and Moggie March……….. So much fabric – so little time.
Hmm, this sounds promising!
Only just over half way through and there are so many fantastic pieces already
What a great way to discover new blogs too – loving it!
So much talent out there to discover!
I am becoming slightly suspicious of what you may have unleashed…
Culpability rests solely with you: I hope you appreciate this when it comes to civil action against you when women in animal print garments start ruling the world. (Actually, we’ve ruled the world forever, it’s just that the men don’t realise that) – that’s the clever bit!)
I promised Mommy I would always use my powers for good!!
All the lovely prints! So much fabric desire occurring on my insides. Everyone is doing so well!
